Meet The Founder
Dequan Galloway, born and raised in Chicago, is a passionate musician, singer, director, and concert producer with a heart for ministry, music, and community impact. As the founder of The Praise Collective Ministry, he has created a Christ-centered movement where worship, creativity, and community intersect, uniting voices and hearts to glorify God.
A recent graduate of Lycoming College, DeQuan founded The Lyco Voices, the college’s first gospel choir, reflecting his deep commitment to faith, artistic expression, and community building. He has served as Minister of Music, Music Director, and Choir Director at various churches, dedicating his gifts to leading worship, directing choirs, and strengthening spirit-led music ministries that inspire and uplift. For DeQuan, music is not just what he does—it’s how he serves.
Through his travels and performances alongside some of gospel music’s most prominent artists, DeQuan brings his gifts to communities far and wide, expanding the reach of the Gospel. His work extends beyond the sanctuary into the broader community, using music as a tool to foster connection, unity, and spiritual growth.
As a concert producer, DeQuan has led transformative events such as the Gospel Christmas Concert, Worship Nights, and the Women in Music Concert for Breast Cancer Awareness—each designed to inspire, uplift, and draw people closer to God.
Driven by a heart for ministry, DeQuan continues to walk boldly in faith—on stage and behind the scenes—using his platform and talents to empower others, build community, and glorify God in every endeavor through The Praise Collective Ministry.
